Worth in me

You see me when you want to

Hear me when you choose to

Only like me when convenient for you

But my heart isn’t a convenience thrift store

You get to rummage through

Funny little men

So you picked me up and

Thought if you’d treat me to a dinner then, My body you’d get to bend

Oh sweet little dense sheep

I paid for my own dinner and coffee

But I will pay twice the bill to excuse your company

How shallow these recycled boys claim themselves not to be

But I have messages

I keep all the receipts

You want to catch up

Talk about past memories

Thinking you will warm up my heart

So I could take off my clothes willingly?

I’m done breaking off pieces of me

Sharing myself with the undeserving

No, I don’t want to catch up little dude

You can save it for the girls who fall for your sales pitch for fools

I just wish one day a real man will find worth in me

More than just my body

    Sigh…. I absolutely enjoyed this from an artistic standpoint. It’s even more better as I can hear all of those different emotions that you’re feeling in your voice coming through. It just felt defeated to me….With just the added background music to make it feel as dark as it should be.

    But on the other hand, I don’t want to enjoy a type of writing like this. Because, you shouldn’t have to go through things like that. The things I have seen, and the things I have heard other men do from other women over the years always leaves me heartbroken. In terms of hetero relationships, I’m lucky to count one or two fingers on one hand from any women I’ve known over the years who have had ANY kind of good experiences with other men. Maybe that’s why I’m just so cynical about it at this point. Who knows. But it’s not fair, and I don’t like it. And your words are literally like I’m not kidding, the same exact pattern of the same stories (or WORSE) that I hear over and over and over and over again. Like it’s so infuriating. Which is all the more reason why I’m inspired to do my part to just at least put a dent or a hole in that systematized nonsense any chance I get.

    I’m sorry that some out there have chosen to stay blind, and mistreat the beauty that you have. But I see YOU Sierra. I mean that. And if that’s not good enough for anybody, well then they are going to have to take the L and just stay blind to you. It’s their stupid choice.

    Is this a 10/10? Nah, It’s a 12/10. 👍🏻

      You are always right, and your comments are so amazingly comforting, kind and supportive. I appreciate you and I am so happy you exist!

      Sadly, this is exactly what has been happening to me recently , feel sorry for your friends who go through this as well😪 I am the gullible one that falls for the same Game everytime. Guess its that human part of wanting to be wanted, adored, loved and seen. I dont know though.

      This was not that hopeful or happy, but part of this journey nonetheless.

      Either way thanks for always being the one of the only ones to comment and like. Makes it worth it , thank you Christopher 🙏🏼

        It really is my pleasure! I’m so sorry for chiming in again because I know your time is valuable. And obviously, you can write off and not even consider at all what I’m about to say, but please know that it’s not ever your fault when someone abuses what I call the “Seductive Dance,” and treats it like a selfish game for manipulation instead. It doesn’t make you gullible for trying. It’s good that you want to be adored, wanted, loved, and seen. Because that’s exactly what you deserve! You showed up exactly as you should’ve! It’s their fault if that other person abuses the moment, and isn’t grateful for the opportunity that’s in front of them, and treats you like crap instead. Just like you always tell me, don’t stop being you. I’m so freaking happy you exist on this earth too! In my opinion, You’re one of the special ones. So please just keep being you! 🙏🏼
