A collection of poems

I started my day with three F’s to give.
And before half the day in, I ran out of all of them.
Why? I keep asking.
My feedback loop insisted on pain and suffering.
Our brains cant tell the difference between physical and mental pain.
That’s how strong the brain and mind are at this thinking game.
Problems are necessary.
Pain is needed.
Suffering is optimal, to tell us limits have been exceeded.
Whether mentally or physically.
The solution to one problem creates a new problem for everybody.
That’s the living.
Happiness comes from solving problems.
It’s a form of action.
A constant work in progress.
True Happiness occurs when you find the problems to solve them.
Only to create more problems for you to resolve and then more to generate.
Choosing what struggles are worth it to you, that is what I call individuality.
Push into hard times instead of pulling away, as one would naturally.
Remember the pain, the discomfort, the want to overcome,
they help us practice living.
Not a single one of us is excused from experiencing suffering.
When do we realize we are not unique?
We are not special and we don’t have to be the very best at everything.
We need struggle, pain, and stress.
Because if no problems are found, then what’s there to address?
With so many hours in a day.
Solving them creates a happiness.
Suffering without purpose is pain.
Worrying about things that don’t matter is a waste of space.
Recognize it’s inevitable to live without feeling bad some days.
And knowing hard times and stress won’t ever go away.
Because humans need friction to exist.
When you understand that, then you get to choose which struggles matter.
And which to not waste one of your 3 F’s that you give a day.

I definitely think we met in a past life for sure. May our paths always cross here and there.

So happy we are here! Kicking ass and taking names.

I will see you in a few!!

But what If I only have two fs to give? I’m too impatient for three these days. Especially when I know someone wants the smoke when they cut me off in traffic, and won’t let me try to merge in around here. Always doing 80 in a 60 tryna ride my ass to make me go faster. Hell nah, they only get 2! Lol! 😂

Like for real tho, i just gotta say first that you did a phenomenal job on that instrumental! It was super sick! I was just sitting there the whole time listening with that oh yeah kind of look on my face, hypnotized, just head bopping on the beat! Lol. It was perfect for this piece! Second, the messaging, and tone in here was spot on, and very uplifting from my standpoint! It had that quiet confident energy to it! Sick!!!!

That line, “Because humans need friction to exist,” is an absolutely hot philosophical take that a lot of us don’t want to believe, or accept. But it’s just true, and it’s an absolute fact. Friction and tension is what builds everything. Without it, we would just sit in a stupor all day doing nothing with ourselves. We have to have challenges to grow. It does indeed make life worth living for.

“Choosing what struggles are worth it to you, that is what I call individuality.” Oh that line right there! Oh my, that line!!!!! You just gave a good definition for a healthy sense of individuality right there in that one line! Our personal struggles are indeed what separates us uniquely from everyone else! Thanks for giving me that epiphany! Absolutely splendid! I loved everything about this from start to finish! I felt throughout this entire poem what true femininity always does, and that is to be an inspiration! You inspire the living hell out of me here, and I give back right now with the utmost sense of my gratitude! I will not stop in this mission of gratitude until you’re seen fully forever by even more, and inspiring more and more in this world! Keep making that pain your bitch! And I must hear this one on open mic!

As always my, you made my day. I hope you understand how special you are and make people feel. Thank you. You understand where I am coming from and your genuine support is very much so appreciated. I am beyond grateful 🙏🏼

It hurts when we put our hearts into pieces and for me specifically hardly get viewed or liked. So thank you 😊

You always have such a great response like I am genuinely curious about how people feel, or what their take is and you always deliver.

Such a great world with you in it!!!

I am doing this piece tonight, for sure!

Cant wait to hear your set, I love Tuesdays!!

Your words never fail to touch my heart in the deepest place. That’s super humbling in a good way. I’m trying to understand my place and role in the world. I at least know what that is now. Just gotta practice living it, and having grace as I fumble through my mistakes. One day at a time, slowly but surely, without giving in to the temptation of pride nor arrogance, I’ll begin to fully embrace that understanding! 🙏🏻

And yes, indeed it hurts. I will keep believing, and I will keep witnessing to your art. I connect to it on a level where I believe we’ve probably known each other at some point in our past lives. It wouldn’t surprise me if that’s the case for sure. That’s all the more reason for me to continue taking action, and doing my part. 🖼️

And I’m always happy to give you my takes on things. The subjectivity in art, and how it rings true for others’ experiences with the tension between similarities and differences is nothing short of magical.

I couldn’t be more grateful and honored that you invited me into the group. I’m so glad to be a part of it! And that took a lot of trust and good intuition on your part, so bravo to you there! Everyone there is so special in their own unique way. And they are such a wonderful and beautiful group of people. My Tuesday’s are just so much better now. And just like you do, I look forward to that day now. 🎤
